There are numerous polls and most show a close race. The media refer to the polls as being in the “margin of error,” meaning that a two or three point lead cannot be determined one way of the other. I do not see the polls or the race as “in the margin of error.”

I view the poll numbers as placing the election within “the margin of corruption.” The election’s outcome may well be determined by a handful of counties in the United States well known for corruption and one of those is Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

What if this had been today’s lead story at MSNBC: “Having made the decision to truly differentiate himself from his opponent, Barack Obama announced yesterday that he would not allow social issues such as same-sex marriage and ‘reproductive choice’ to distract him from his main message of wealth redistribution. Obama said, ‘While the issue of same-sex marriage may be important to some of those who would vote for the Democratic ticket, I cannot be distracted from my main objective of bringing equal outcome to the people of this nation.’”

Homosexual activist Barney Frank (D-MA) says the Democratic Party’s Platform Committee has drafted a plank that supports gay marriage. The vote was unanimous among the 15 members of the committee. The CBS affiliate in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is reporting that Rick Santorum has a 45% support among Texas Republicans. This is more than double of Newt Gringrich who is now in second place in Texas at 18%. Romney is at 16% and Ron Paul is two points behind at 14%. Just two weeks ago,
