“Congress can’t rein the president in. When he breaks the law or ignores the Constitution, he has basically told Congress, ‘I will do it myself and if you don’t like it, sue me.’ Speaker Boehner has a long list of violations if the House passes a resolution giving him the right to bring suit.”

Barack Hussein Obama recently held a “gay pride” celebration at the White House and bragged that a homosexual college professor at Occidental College helped shape his views on sodomy (of course, he didn’t use that word).
According to Obama, “I just wanted to acknowledge him, because he helped shape how I think about so many of these issues, and those sort of quiet heroes that sometimes don’t get acknowledged.”
“The President knew his controversial nominees did not have the support needed to pass the Senate. He took matters into his own hands and ignored the will of the people, much like he has done on a number of other issues during his Presidency from costly cap-and-trade regulations to the rollout of ObamaCare. This ruling serves as a reminder that the Constitution will always govern this land and must be respected, even by the President.”
Following the Obama Administration’s announcement that it will send lawyers and judges to the border in order to attempt to fast-track the removal of children, teenagers, and families seeking to enter the United States illegally, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte today sent a letter to President Barack Obama asking him whether he believes there are provisions in current law that have set up roadblocks to actually achieving this goal and if he will suggest legislative changes.
Congressmen Trent Franks (R-AZ) and Frank Wolf (R-VA) were the men who spearheaded the effort in Congress to obtain freedom for Meriam Ibrahim from a Sudanese jail.
Thanks to their work, 38 Congressman sent a letter of concern to Secretary of John Kerry on the plight of Meriam and her two children who were in prison. She faced 100 lashes and then death by hanging for her Christian faith. Interestingly enough, only 7 Democrats signed this letter of concern – showing just how little liberals care about religious persecution overseas. Perhaps if Meriam had been a lesbian Muslim, more Democrats would have signed the letter.
“We are witnessing a humanitarian crisis unfolding that is the direct consequence of President Obama’s lawlessness,” Sen. Cruz said. “We just toured this Air Force facility, where up to 1,200 children are being cared for… but they have come through harrowing circumstances.
“When the President of the United States prevents the Border Patrol from following the law, and enforcing our immigration laws, when the President of the United States announces to the world amnesty for those who have broken the law, the consequence is people respond to that, and the way they respond to that is handing over their children to drug dealers and vicious cartels.
Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) stood on the House floor recently and gave an impassioned speech on the function of the House of Representatives and the separation of powers in the Constitution.
Gowdy reminded his liberal colleagues in the House that it is their responsibility to pass laws; it is the responsibility of the President of the United States to faithfully execute those laws under the Constitution.
“This situation on the border is not intractable. It is caused by the president of the United States of America. President Obama is engaging in the willful destruction of the rule of law. President Obama has intentionally erased our southern border, and the White House is sending messages down to Central America advertising to come here now.”
Political commentator and author Dinesh D’Souza appeared on “The Kelly File” last night to explain why Obama feels he must punish America for its alleged sins.
D’Souza, author of The Roots Of Obama’s Rage, provides a convincing argument both in his book and in his video “2016” as to why Obama’s policies are designed to downsize America and punish Americans for their role in the world.
Congressman Randy Forbes (R-VA) recently grilled Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel on the release of five Taliban terrorists for Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl. The answers he got were unsatisfactory – and he discusses why on two Fox News shows.
