President Obama has invited Islamist Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi to the U.S. and has pledged a “new partnership” with this nation. Mursi seeks to impose Sharia on his nation.

Obama’s invitation to this radical Islamist caught Israel off guard because the Obama Administration had previously told the Israeli leadership that Mursi would not be invited to the White House until certain conditions had been met for the security of Israel. Chief among those conditions was that Mursi would uphold the 1979 Camp David Accords – which formalized peace between Egypt and Israel.

Front Page Magazine analyst Joseph Puder has noted:

“President Obama is determined to prove that he alone understands Muslims and Islam and that he can cultivate the Muslim world into friendship with America and the West.  The Islamic Republic of Iran, which Obama sought to appease, rebuffed him, and in fact ridiculed him. Inviting Mursi to the White House, while ignoring his promises to Israel, indicates above all his sympathy for the Islamic revolutionaries in general and the Muslim Brotherhood in particular, neither of which serve the best interests of the U.S. or its ally, Israel.”

Obama has shown himself to be an Islamist sympathizer and an enemy of Israel and democracy in the Middle East. He appears to be engineering the overthrow of any Middle Eastern country that does not embrace Islamist radicalism. His efforts are succeeding in creating a ring of hostile nations around Israel.
