New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan was snubbed by President Obama. But, Obama welcomes Islamists and LGBT activists to the Democratic National Convention.

President Obama has rejected an offer by New York’s Catholic Cardinal Timothy Dolan to give a benediction at the upcoming Democratic National Convention.

Dolan had offered the benediction to Obama and had notified the Administration that he was going to be offering a prayer at the Republican National Convention as well. No one from the Obama camp has responded to his offer since then.

Dolan’s spokesman told the New York Post  that Dolan “wanted to make sure that they knew that this was not a partisan act on his part and that he would be just as happy and grateful to accept an invitation from the Democrats as he would to have received one from the Republicans. He has not been contacted by them” since.

According to Bill Donohue with the Catholic League: “The Catholic vote is the most critical vote. They’re the wild card. So, why wouldn’t you ingratiate yourself to the pope of America and send a wink and a nod to Catholics? That’s just good politics.”

What does this say about Obama’s religious beliefs?

And, of course, Obama’s surrogates are busy traveling to various LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) venues to solicit their votes. VP Biden was recently at an LGBT fundraiser in Provincetown, Massachusetts to “love on” them. He told them: “You are freeing the soul of the American people.”

Attorney General Eric Holder gave a keynote speech at the 2012 Lavender Law Conference, a gathering of homosexual, bisexual, and transsexual lawyers. Holder told them: “As Attorney General, I consider it a privilege to be part of this annual gathering, and to join such a diverse group of partners, colleagues, and friends in working to strengthen our nation’s legal community, and legal system. And as an American, I am deeply proud to stand with you in celebrating the remarkable, once —unimaginable progress that — particularly over the past three and a half years – your leadership and coordinated efforts have helped to bring about.”

Clearly, gays, bisexuals, lesbians, transgenders and radical Islamists are part of Obama’s coalition to destroy America’s moral base and undermine our national security. And, of course, traditional Catholics like Cardinal Dolan aren’t welcome.
