Joe Biden, the man who stands one heart-beat away from the presidency just can’t seem to help himself these days.

He’s once again uttered forth what is known as a “Bidenism.” His gaffes are legendary, but this one is clearly vicious and totally dishonest.  

In speaking to an audience of Virginia Democrats (including many blacks) earlier this week, Biden told them that the GOP wants to unchain the Wall Street banks, but “put y’all back in chains” if the Republicans take the White House in November. In other words, the GOP wants to enslave blacks. And, what’s with his use of “y’all”? Did he suddenly become a Southerner?

If memory serves, it was the Republican President Abraham Lincoln who actually freed the slaves in 1865 – and it was Southern Democrats for decades afterward who maintained a system of oppression and racial segregation until the 1950s. But, never mind. Facts don’t matter to the likes of Biden.

Toward the end of Biden’s speech, he told the audience: “With you we can win North Carolina again, and if we do, we win the election if we win you.” Biden apparently forgot what state he was in. Or, did he think Virginians could just drive over to North Carolina and vote there?

Biden’s misstatements, outrageous attacks against the GOP, and his lapses in judgment are well known. While trying to sell Obama’s job-killing “jobs bill,” Biden stated that if the Obama bill wasn’t passed, rapes and murders would increase on our city streets.

According to Biden:  “It’s not temporary when that 911 call comes in and a woman’s being raped, if a cop shows up in time to prevent the rape.  It’s not temporary to that woman.  … I wish they [Republicans] had some notion of what it was like to be on the other side of a gun, or a 200-pound man standing over you, telling you to submit.”

How nice. If Republicans oppose Obama’s trillion dollar boondoggles, they’re actually supporting rape and murder. This is Biden logic. Is he descending into early-stage dementia – or is he just wildly incompetent? Maybe both?

Tragically, whenever Biden speaks, he demeans the vice presidency and America.
