Did Congressman Anthony Weiner, who is from a Jewish background, actually convert to Islam when he married his Muslim wife Huma Abedin? Huma, who was a key advisor in Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2008, is now a top aide to Hillary at the State Department and seemingly a close confidant. When Anthony Weiner and Huma married last year, it was Bill Clinton who “led the ceremony.” It is not clear what kind of ceremony it was, but it presents something of a quandry, since it is against sharia law for a Muslim to marry an apostate or a non-Muslim. So did Weiner convert, or did Huma convert? Randy McDaniels examines this question in his article, “Did Anthony Weiner Convert to Islam and who is Huma Abedin?”
With her striking beauty and intelligence, Huma has long been a “mystery woman” to her breathlessly admiring friends in liberal political circles. (See “Hillary’s Mystery Woman: Who Is Huma?” in the New York Observer.) Many of those friends said they would back her in a run for public office and they trusted her completely, while admitting they knew little or nothing about her background. What is known about Huma is that she grew up in Saudi Arabia, from the age of two until she came to the United States to attend Georgetown University. Her mother, a noted professor, still lives in Saudi Arabia. Her father , who is deceased, was also a notable scholar in Saudi Arabia; both he and Huma’s mother were originally from Pakistan

If I were Weiner I would worry more about his wifes family looking him up for dishonoring them and we know what could happen next, don’t we?
