PDFGOP: We don’t need social conservatives … Really …
Karl Rove spent $400 million backing establishment candidates who were not social conservatives. Not even one of the Karl Rove supported establishment candidates won. Now the GOP establishment says that social conservatives such as Todd Akin caused the Romney loss. What? It was Romney’s one note campaign on taxes that cost him the election. He made no effort to go after the social conservatives inside the “47%.”
