U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) has been attacked on the floor of the Senate by John McCain (R-AZ) for asking for an investigation into the activities of Muslim Brotherhood operatives inside the Obama Administration.
Among those potential Muslim Brotherhood operatives is Huma Abedin, the wife of disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY). Abedin is Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s top aide.
Abedin has Muslim Brotherhood ties – but McCain went ballistic over Bachmann’s call for an investigation of Islamist infiltration into the highest branches of our government.
According to McCain: “I know Huma to be an intelligent, upstanding, hard-working, and loyal servant of our country and our government, who has devoted countless days of her life to advancing the ideals of the nation she loves and looking after its most precious interests. I am proud to know Huma, and to call her my friend.”
Rep. Bachmann laid out her case on Muslim Brotherhood infiltration in a 16-page letter to Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MI). In it, she pointed out that Huma Abedin’s deceased father, Syed Z. Abedin was a professor in Saudi Arabia, who founded the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs, a group supported by the Muslim World League – a Muslim Brotherhood front group.
Her mother, Saleha Mahmoud Abed is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood – a Muslim Brotherhood group.
Rep. Bachmann has every right to be concerned over Huma Abedin and what sort of influence she might have over Hillary Clinton at the State Department. That’s why an investigation is warranted.
And, every American should be equally concerned over the infiltration of Muslim Brotherhood operatives into the Obama Administration. Obama is clearly pro-Islam and anti-Israel in his Middle East foreign policy decisions

Senator McCain is now no more than a career politician and has served his purpose (if any), long ago. Mr. McCain should do the homourable thing and retire.
