House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) and a GING-PAC supported candidate, says that if the Supreme Court doesn’t kill Obamacare, the House of Representatives will.
According to Cantor: “There’s clearly a consensus at least in the House of Representatives that ‘ObamaCare’ was a mistake and that we need to really repeal the law so we can get back to the kind of healthcare outlook most Americans are looking for.”
Cantor says that if the Supreme Court only kills off parts of Obamacare, the House will move immediately to repeal the entire law and then put together a health care plan that actually stresses choice for families.
Obamacare, of course, includes HHS mandates that employers provide abortion, contraceptive and sterilization services for employees and students. This includes Christian hospitals, schools, and other Christian-run businesses. The mandates aren’t in the law, but are being imposed on American businesses by HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius with Obama’s approval.
Sebelius and Obama are willing to force Christian institutions to pay for pro-abortion services in spite of the fact that this mandate violates religious freedom and freedom of conscience.
