Al Franken’s Senate Race Victory Likely Due To Felon Vote

In this season of Democrat-inspired voter fraud and DOJ lawsuits against states trying to prevent illegals from voting, it’s no surprise to learn that Al Franken’s slim victory over Norm Coleman in 2008 was likely due to the felon vote.

That’s the conclusion reached by John Fund and former Bush Justice Department official Hans von Spakovsky in their new book, Who’s Counting.

They note that on the morning after the election, conservative Norm Coleman led Franken by only 725 votes. Democrat operatives sent an army of lawyers to challenge the results. Coleman’s lead shrunk to 206 votes. In the end, Franken was declared the winner by 312 votes.

A conservative group called Minnesota Majority began examining voter rolls and found that 1,099 felons had voted in the Franken-Coleman race! Since most felons vote Democratic, it’s no stretch to figure that Franken won his seat thanks to criminals.

What’s significant about the Franken victory is that it gave the Harry Reid crowd the 60th vote they needed to vote for Obamacare and other immoral legislation. If Coleman had kept his seat, there would have been no Obamacare – and no HHS mandates on Christian businesses to provide contraceptives, abortion or sterilization services.

No wonder the Obama DOJ is actively trying to kill the military vote in Ohio – and is suing states like Arizona and Florida to prevent honest elections. It’s also no surprise that Obama and Eric Holder are fighting against voter ID laws in numerous states. They need voter fraud in order to win their elections.

Michael Walsh, a National Review and PJ Media contributor has recently written a booklet on the Democrat Party: The People V. The Democratic Party. In it, he likens the Democrat Party to little more than a criminal organization masquerading as a political party. Watch his interview at FrontPageMagazine:
